Quanta Books, a boutique nonfiction imprint, seeks an Editorial & Publishing Assistant to support the Publisher and Senior Editor in New York City. You will assist in acquisitions, draft copy, and coordinate the publication process for several titles annually.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in science journalism or book publishing a plus.
• Project management experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist editors in acquisitions: research ideas, evaluate proposals, write reader reports.
• Draft flap copy, title information sheets, catalog/web copy, social posts, newsletters.
• Track publication process for approx. 3–5 titles per year; manage databases/calendars.
