Job summary

Bob Jones University Press is seeking an Editorial Production Assistant to support the Editorial team in producing K-12 materials with a biblical worldview for Christian schools and homeschools. You will perform editorial production tasks including proofreading textbooks and digital resources, and work independently or under an editor's direction.

After onboarding, a regular part-time employee may apply for a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Chicago Manual of Style and related references (learn on the job).
• Experience with editorial test requirement.

Responsibilities

• Direct editing of ancillary BJU Press products; developmental, copy, and production editing.
• Direct editorial production tasks as assigned.
• Proofread print and digital products.
• Learn and review BJU Press style and procedures; suggest updates as appropriate.
• Uphold the BJU Press brand image and standards.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
