- Book high level Washington newsmakers, policy experts, journalists and principals for major stories.
- Coordinate logistics, conduct pre-interviews and update guests on topics.
- Pitch new voices to join the show.
- Maintain control room readiness and react quickly during breaking news.
- Develop new guest relationships for the program and network.

- Booking high level Washington newsmakers, key policy experts, thought leaders, journalists, witnesses and principals in major stories
- Coordinating logistics, conducting pre-interviews, keeping guests up to date on topics and relevant research
- Pitching new voices to join the show
- Strong control room skills, including the ability to react quickly during breaking news to line up officials, lawmakers, outside reporters
- Should also have a strong grasp on using social media to find people involved in breaking news situations in remote areas.
- Must also be able to develop and cultivate new guest relationships on behalf of the program and the network.
- May require travel for breaking news bookings
- This job requires being in the control room during the show
- 3+ years of news production experience
- A strong knowledge of politics and current events --plus an aptitude for talent development
- The ability to multi-task and execute quickly
- Four-year college degree or equivalent in proven industry experience
- Awareness of guests/panelists political leanings
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple guests and to develop long-term relationships

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $85,470.00 - $158,730.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
