Job summary

Impact Narrative Media is seeking a designer to craft editorial publications, client annual reports, and editorial sites. The role focuses on typography-led, photography-driven work and requires care in readability across both print and digital formats.

The designer will primarily work on real publications, with opportunities to influence the studio’s brand surfaces as needed. Five+ years in editorial design and a strong portfolio are essential.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in editorial design at magazines or comparable
• Strong type sense with defensible opinions about body text faces
• Comfort designing across print and digital with equal craft
• Experience working with editors and writers on real publications
• Portfolio including at least one extended editorial system (magazine, series, or book)

Responsibilities

• Design publications, clients' annual reports, editorial sites, and print pieces
• Editorial work is typography- and photography-led, crafted for readability
• Occasionally contribute to the studio's brand surfaces as needed
