The Editor, Bloom Books and Bloom YA will acquire, edit, and manage both adult fiction and young adult authors. Bloom Books has experienced mind‑blowing growth in the last two years with our adult fiction and we are excited to both continue to expand our adult fiction list AND expand more heavily into YA. This role is a great fit for you if you are a fan of romance (and spice!), have a commercial and business‑minded approach to building a list, are flexible in both learning processes and knowing how and when to work outside of them, and truly believe in the power of books to change lives! This is an exempt salaried position at $55,000 - $70,000/year. This range is based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, location, training, and education. This process ensures a fair and competitive salary that aligns with both the company and the candidate’s qualifications.
The location for this position can be hybrid or remote in New York or Naperville, Illinois or remote based in any of the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin. This role includes some travel, including occasional meetings at the home office in Naperville, IL.
