Job summary

Ankura is seeking an Associate for its Risk Advisory/Discovery team to support engagements involving data identification, collection, review, and production across complex matters. You will help transform large data sets into actionable insights using advanced analytics and ML approaches.

You will work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment, engaging with senior team members and clients, while developing professionally through mentorship and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 with a bachelor’s degree or higher in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or other analytical area with strong academics.
• Strong interest in using technology to manage data and solve complex data problems.
• Ability to engage in collaborative projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Advanced decision-making, problem-solving, logic-based skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and motivation to develop professionally.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior team members and clients.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery tools (Relativity, predictive coding), database programming (SQL/PLSQL), and forensic tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and use knowledge of technology to design innovative approaches to solve data-related challenges.
• Execute projects involving identification, organization, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.
• Create summaries, data visualizations, analyses, and other presentations of work performed.
• Manage time and tasks to meet deadlines for clients with time-sensitive needs.
• Participate in internal and external meetings to review results of work performed.
• Generate documentation to support processes across the project lifecycle.
• Deliver day-to-day activities of a project including interaction with team members and client personnel.
• Travel and/or overtime as required.
