Job summary

USPh (U.S. Physical Therapy) is seeking an EDI Representative for an onsite role in Houston, TX.

The individual will support the EDI department and clinics with enrollment, inquiries, and basic technical troubleshooting in ANSI 837P/837I formats. The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, at least 1 year in medical billing/collections, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum in a medical billing and collections environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi task with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ANSI Code Set as it applies to 837P and 837I healthcare billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes payor enrollment forms accurately and timely with signatures.
• Tracks enrollment forms to completion and follows up with Payor as necessary.
• Responds to telephone calls and/or emails promptly.
• Reviews ZirMed Medical Claims rejections on a USPh summary basis to identify backlogs.
• Answers the EDI Help Desk line, documents and tracks requests for timely resolution.
• Provides technical support on ANSI 837P/837I formats.
