Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan in Los Angeles seeks an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Business Analyst II to collaborate with business units and map processes, roadmaps, and data flows.

The role focuses on strategy, collaboration, prioritization based on value to customers and internal stakeholders, and addressing operational risks. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of health data analysis, with strong MS Office and documentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of data analysis experience in a health or managed care environment.
• Bachelor's Degree required; in lieu of degree, equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; manage project scope; adjust schedules when necessary; determine daily priorities; ensure efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones.
• Ensure data is valid and reliable; develop business process improvement; monitor and update software as needed; partner with internal and external customers to accomplish long-term business strategies and goals.
• Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focus on quality improvement and data management.
• Oversee customer relationships and expectations through communication process; update others through project paths.
• Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal communication skills by working collaboratively and effectively with peers, superiors and subordinates to accomplish objectives.
