Job summary

1KOMMA5° GmbH is seeking a skilled Go developer to advance Heartbeat AI Enterprise across edge gateways and cloud services. You will build high-performance edge controllers in Go, write Lua scripts, and design cloud microservices that process time-series data for a growing virtual power plant.

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong Go (Golang) skills and Lua scripting experience.
Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
Experience with IoT or edge computing on Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with MQTT/REST and industrial protocols like Modbus.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
Motivation to contribute to building Europe's largest decentralized Virtual Power Plant.

Responsibilities

Develop core components for Heartbeat AI Enterprise on edge and cloud.
Implement gateway software in Go and Lua.
Design scalable Go microservices processing time-series data and fleet operations.
Implement communication protocols (MQTT, REST/gRPC) and Modbus interfaces.
Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team with architects and product management.
Contribute to VPP trading interactions and demand response features.
