The estimated salary range is $211,370–$253,644 annually, with benefits including flexible vacation and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement reliable, scalable, low-latency systems.
• Significant production experience with C, C++, and/or Rust.
• At least 7 years of domain-relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with Linux systems and network programming.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining distributed infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and deploy C and Rust code for edge protocol systems.
• Enhance, maintain, and optimize network software implementing protocols including TLS, HTTP, QUIC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical roadmaps and mitigate risks.
• Contribute to open source projects such as h2o and picotls.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of engineers.
