Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technical Staff Engineer - Product Marketing to drive adoption of PIC64 64-bit multicore processors across Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets.

This role focuses on accelerating design-wins, strengthening ecosystem readiness, and translating market insight into strategy and portfolio execution. You will engage directly with customers, partners, and sales to shape opportunities, define compelling solutions, and contribute to roadmap direction for

Qualifications

• 12.5+ years in product management or related roles with embedded processors/SoCs
• Experience with 64-bit embedded compute platforms; Arm/RISC-V preferred
• Strong customer-facing experience with system architects and senior leaders
• Direct exposure to Aerospace/Defense or Industrial embedded markets
• Familiar with long product lifecycles and customer requirements
• Experience across hardware, software, systems engineering, sales, and marketing
• Ability to translate market insight into product strategy and roadmap decisions

Responsibilities

• Act as a product and market expert for sales teams and customers
• Drive design-win engagements for strategic accounts in targeted markets
• Build senior-level customer relationships across engineering and management
• Gather market signals and feedback to shape priorities
• Support ecosystem readiness and accelerate PIC64 adoption
