Job summary

Indiana Furniture is seeking a full-time Edge Coater operator at our Jasper, Indiana facility. The ideal candidate will operate Edge Coater equipment and follow loadcards to ensure production quality and efficiency.

This role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read a loadcard, and learn tape measurements. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Lift up to 50 pounds and up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to read a loadcard.
  • Must be able to read or learn to read a tape measure in inches and millimeters.
  • Ability to distinguish different colors.
  • Willingness to train on other small machines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to focus on the task at hand and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn more than one position
  • Must be willing to cross train in other jobs eventually.
  • Maintain consistent quality
  • Work as a team member.

Responsibilities

  • Operate G211 Edge Coater and related equipment.
  • Read and follow loadcards and instructions.
  • Cross-train in other jobs as needed to support production.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a production team.

All employees must wear safety glasses at all times. (Non-prescription safety glasses will be provided by Indiana Furniture). Hearing protection and work gloves are available upon request. Individuals accepting job assignments with Indiana Furniture must be able to work during scheduled work hours on a regular basis.

Operator must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
