Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to create and implement machine learning techniques, frameworks, and tools enabling efficient discovery and utilization of state-of-the-art ML solutions across a broad set of technology verticals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ML for mobile, edge, auto, and IoT products through ML hardware and software. Minimum qualifications include a degree in CS/Engineering/IS with 4+ years in hardware/software/systems

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of Hardware/Software/Systems Eng or related work experience.
Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience in ML or ML-enabled embedded systems.
PhD with 2+ years of related experience in ML or hardware-software co-design.

Responsibilities

Leverages advanced ML knowledge to extend training or runtime frameworks or model efficiency software tools with new features and optimizations.
Models, architects, and develops advanced ML hardware (co-designed with ML software) for inference or training solutions.
Develops optimized software to enable AI models deployed on hardware (kernels, compiler tools, or model efficiency tools) to allow specific hardware features; collaborates with hardware teams.
