Job summary

webAI is seeking an Embedded Signal Processing Engineer to advance production-ready AI systems for secure, distributed government edge environments. You will deploy and prototype AI models on embedded hardware, coordinating across hardware, ML, and software teams for autonomous field deployment.

The role emphasizes real-time processing, multi-node architectures, and robust hardware-in-the-loop validation, with up to 25% travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Active US Security clearance required.
• 6+ years in RF and networking architecture, tactical radio systems, bench-test simulation environments, and distributed middleware.
• Embedded systems, signal processing, and custom hardware integration experience.
• Strong SWaP-C optimization, network partitioning, multi-stream ingestion, cross-platform development on x86 and ARM64.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with AI and Network Software Engineers to design low-latency multi-node comms in restricted environments.
• Quantize, compile, and deploy real-time multi-agent pipelines across edge architectures.
• Develop algorithms for asynchronous multimodal data fusion, tracking, and signal processing.
• Architect and maintain HIL simulation environments to test autonomy algorithms.
• Lead assembly, calibration, and ruggedized field-testing of multi-node prototypes.
• Travel up to 25% to other webAI offices and government sites.
