Job summary

AGCO in Tremont, IL is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join our product development team. You will develop and optimize computer vision software and edge AI for on-equipment and in-field use, collaborating with a seasoned team to push agriculture technology forward.

The role requires strong C++ and Python, OpenCV, and embedded Linux experience, including NVIDIA Jetson platforms, Yocto-based builds, and camera interfaces. On-site work four days a week; competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python with OpenCV.
• Experience cross-compiling and optimizing C++/Python for embedded Linux, preferably NVIDIA Jetson.
• Familiarity with ML packages (Sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Hands-on with BSPs, kernel customization and Yocto, plus camera interfaces and in-field flashing.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop computer vision algorithms and data analysis for edge devices.
• Test and verify your solutions in real-world field conditions with customers.
• Apply classical CV techniques and ML-based detection for real-time edge processing.
