Job summary

Cheltenham School District seeks a lacrosse head coach for Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, PA. This is an extra-duty, part-time position for the 2026-2027 school year, starting immediately.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; ability to build relationships with students, parents, staff, and administration.
• Background checks required and must be updated as per state law.

Cheltenham School District announces the following extra duty-extra pay position(s) is available for the 2026-2027 school-year, atCheltenham High School:

• Must have extensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to effectively teach and communicate fundamental skills.
• Must have at least 2 - 4 years of coaching experience working with children and/or adolescents; coaching at the high school level preferred.
• A strong understanding of the sport's theory and practice is required; experience as a player or coach at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
• Must demonstrate the personal qualities necessary to foster sportsmanship and support student-athlete success in a positive and encouraging environment.
• The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, along with a proven ability to build relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and school administration.
• Applicants must be prepared to submit required background checks that are no more than one year old from the date of issue, in accordance with state law.
