Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant is required.
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques is essential.

Description

Woodland Park Dental Group is seeking an EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team-oriented and patient-centric practice full-time. We are located west of Colorado Springs and have a bright and open office with windows in every operatory. We are a fast-paced, friendly team with patients who have been coming to our clinic for generations. Join a well-known, established practice that has been serving our community for over 20 years.

Our ideal EDDA-Dental Assistant is passionate about providing the highest level of patient care, is reliable and self-motivated, wants to grow and expand their skill set, and, most importantly, is someone who will jump in and help out anywhere to make the team better. Schedule: Monday, every other Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Take necessary X-rays.
  • Four-handed dentistry chairside experience
  • Temporary Crowns, fillings, and impressions
  • Assisting during endodontic treatments
  • Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
  • Restock treatment areas and maintain Inventory
  • Prepare treatment plans and update patient charts in Denticon
  • Set up and breakdown of operatories
  • Scheduling patients for treatment
  • Maintaining OSHA standards

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Teamwork
  • Denticon knowledge is a plus.
