Job summary

ICON plc is seeking a Clinical System Designer II to design and optimize clinical systems for efficient trial management. You will ensure systems meet user needs and comply with industry standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will design and implement clinical systems, conduct validation, and provide user training. A strong background in computer science or life sciences and travel willingness (≈10%) are required, with a focus on quality and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience in system design and implementation, preferably in a clinical research environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in system functionality and usability.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%).

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.
  • Conducting system testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Providing training and support to users, addressing any issues that arise during system usage.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of clinical systems, incorporating user feedback and industry best practices.
Your Profile

You will bring relevant creative design and content experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
