Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a part-time Unit Coordinator for the ED Main Campus (11a-11p). You will greet and register critical and trauma patients, answer calls, and coordinate communications across the unit.

This role requires strong computer and administrative skills, customer service focus, and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Associates degree preferred, high school graduate required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; associates degree preferred.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register critical and trauma patients.
• Answer telephone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate unit communications.
• Coordinate admissions paperwork and contacts on-call providers.
• Pull and file medical charts as indicated.
• Order supplies and maintain stock for the unit.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
