Job summary

Camden Rockport Elementary School is seeking an Ed Tech III to work with staff and students in our K-4 Composite Resource Program. The role involves collaborating with team members to deliver small-group instruction and 1:1 support, implementing IEPs, and assisting with executive functioning and behavior plans.

The position runs 7:15am–2:45pm, 189 days per year, prorated based on start date. It offers full-time benefits and Maine-specific retirement options.

Qualifications

• Willingness to seek nontraditional solutions to issues as they arise.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Ability to proactively manage student behaviors.
• Physical ability: standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, reaching; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to support implementation of student IEPs.
• Collect academic and functional data and implement behavior plans.
• Support students in general and special education settings (K-4, 1:1 and small groups).
• Support students during nonacademic times (playground, lunch, bus).
• Create and provide specially designed instruction in academics and executive functioning in consultation with the special education teacher.
