Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in educational technician or related field.
• Must be fluent in English (read, write and speak).
• Ed Tech III certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• BHP training and certification (or willingness to be trained).

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher by reviewing and reinforcing learning under supervision.
• Support the educational plan and activities for students based on individual need.
• Reinforce behavior and classroom rules to support social development.
• Supervise small groups in community-based programs under supervision.
• Ensure safe classroom environment using appropriate safety procedures.
• Convey information to students using language concepts and teaching aids.
• Maintain professional boundaries in all interactions.
