MSAD #53 is seeking a student-focused, flexible, collaborative individual for the Title I program at Manson Park School. Title I Ed Techs work with individuals and small groups within the regular classroom and in pull-out settings providing intervention in foundational literacy skills and concepts. Some support for math learning may also be required. A team of four Title I Ed Techs collaborate with the PK-4 Literacy Specialist to plan and implement instruction and to monitor progress. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with young children and who are organized, coachable, energetic, and reliable.
This is a part time position, 29.5 hours per week, and hourly wage is based on experience and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Fingerprinting is required by the Maine Department of Education and applicants must be certified as an ed. tech II or be eligible for certification.
