Job summary
Texas Health Dallas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a high-volume, 24/7 environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Expect self-scheduling, ongoing education, and leadership support. A nursing diploma/ADN/BSN, RN license, and active BCLS/ACLS/PALS/CPI/TNCC or ATCN are required or strongly preferred; 1 year ED experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred.
- 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency program required.
- RN license required upon hire.
- BCLS/ACLS/PALS within specified timelines; CPI, TNCC/ATCN as required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Respond to patient priorities regarding safety and basic needs.
- Respect patient dignity and address patients by name.
- Engage families and caregivers in care discussions and decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians, peers, and staff to solve problems.
