Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
An Associate Degree is required.
Responsibilities
Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
Teach patients/families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
Prepare patients/families for self-management after discharge.
