Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Acute Care RN to join the Emergency Department. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, triage, and collaborate with physicians to perform lifesaving procedures while educating patients and families on improving health outcomes.

The role requires Maine RN licensure; BLS/ACLS/PALS are a plus and may be provided on hire. Flexible scheduling and strong teamwork are emphasized within our department.

Qualifications

• Current RN Maine RN License required.
• Desire to work in acute care setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS training completion a plus but will be provided upon hire.
• Collaborative positive team focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, prioritize, and triage patients according to set guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to implement lifesaving procedures.
• Educate patients and families on health outcomes and care plans.
