The Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department provides direct and indirect patient care in a high‑acuity emergency care setting. The RN utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to provide safe and effective care for patients across the lifespan. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and contributes to quality outcomes through clinical excellence, compassionate service, and adherence to regulatory standards.
The Flexible Solutions program provides a temporary opportunity for the employee to work a minimum of 36 hours (typically 3–12‑hour shifts) per week for a 12‑week commitment period at a Flexible Solutions Program rate of pay. The employee may be required to float between units on assigned shifts. This may include being assigned tech (CNA), Monitor Tech, or charge nurse duties if needed to ensure adequate provision of care for patients. Floating and patient care assignments are always based on the RN’s skill set and experience. Rates and details may vary by facility.
