Milwaukee Hospital, LLC seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide comprehensive assessment, triage, and emergency care across all age groups in a fast-paced ED.

The role requires two years of ER experience, active RN licensure in Wisconsin, and current BCLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC; TNCC preferred. In-person role with a strong emphasis on patient advocacy and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments (head-to-toe) and psychosocial evaluations.
• Assign triage categories to determine care urgency.
• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages per protocols.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Supervise ED staff such as ER Technicians and ensure efficient workflows.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient care plans.
• Maintain infection control standards to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
