Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for an onsite Emergency Department position in Colorado, with day and night rotation and a 72-hour per pay period schedule.

You will provide direct patient care, participate in trauma and stroke protocols, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, 6 months RN experience, and certifications such as PALS, NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS, with ongoing professional development within UCHealth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as RN.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• PALS and NIHSS within 6 months of hire; TNCC or ATCN within 6 months.
• ACLS and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
• BLS per AHA/Red Cross; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Participate in trauma and stroke care protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Support patient safety and quality initiatives at the point of care.
