South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the 7:00 am to 7:30 pm shift, 36 hours per week in the Emergency Department. The role involves patient care, safe transport, and assisting with observation and receptionist duties.

You will maintain BLS certification, communicate effectively, document care accurately, and follow safety and HIPAA guidelines. ACLS and instructor certifications are encouraged per SSH requirements.

Formación

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Basic medical terminology and computer skills required.
• Ability to document information accurately and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in patient care and safe transport of patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Observe and report patient data/status to RN; perform safety rounds.
• Greet and manage receptionist/clerical duties to support unit efficiency.
• Maintain safety standards, including infection control and PPE use.
• Document services rendered and use SBAR for communication.
