Brown Medicine in Providence, RI seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patients from admission to discharge under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and accurate documentation in the EHR, in line with hospital policies.
The position requires Rhode Island Nursing Assistant license, BLS certification, basic computer skills, and at least one year of experience; 11:00a-7:30p, every other weekend and holiday; pay range $18.00–$25.82 per hour.
Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and within hospital and department policies and procedures, assists in caring for patients and/or families from admission to discharge.
A nursing assistant is a paraprofessional trained to provide personal care and related health care and assistance to individuals who are sick, disabled, or infirm, and who are residents of or receiving services from health care facilities or agencies licensed by the state and holds a license as a nursing assistant issued by the Department of Health.
