Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) in St. Johnsbury, VT, is hiring an Emergency Department Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice in the State of Vermont, with prescriptive authority (NP or PA).
• National certification required (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA as applicable).
• One year of clinical experience required; emergency or urgent care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including performing assessments, ordering diagnostics, and delivering evidence-based treatment.
• Perform EMTALA screening exams and provide care across all age groups in accordance with emergency department standards.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics to support clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and appropriate referrals.
