Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
• Nursing students: currently enrolled in a Nursing program (ASN or BSN) and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing (must submit unofficial transcript with application).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care, including nutrition, hygiene, safety, and comfort under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Interact extensively with patients, family members, and staff in a fast-paced ED Hold unit.
• Follow safety protocols and be aware of exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Collaborate with ED nursing team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely transitions.
