UF Health seeks an Emergency Medical Technician to perform and document direct routine patient care under licensed provider's supervision according to hospital guidelines.

Responsibilities include numerous skills from patient care basics to EKG rhythm recognition, IV insertion, phlebotomy, wound care, AED operation, confidentiality, and English literacy. Must hold a Florida EMT or Paramedic license and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Vocational Training required.
• Current Florida EMT license or current Florida Paramedic license.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.

Required Experience:Less than 1 of practical clinical experience.

Preferred Experience:1 or more years previous experience in a health care environment.
