California State University, East Bay seeks one or more temporary, part-time lecturers for its Economics department. Position assignments span Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, possibly at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, or online, with teaching duties in introductory or advanced economics courses. The hiring is contingent on budget and qualifications.

Minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in business or economics; a Ph.D. is preferred, with AACSB accreditation favored.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Requirement: Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business or economics.
• Ph.D. in economics preferred.
• Degree from AACSB accredited institution preferred.
• Have professional experience at the time of appointment that is significant in duration and level of responsibility, and consistent with area of teaching responsibilities.
• Or: With a research Ph.D. in economics, must have a current research record in the teaching field. ABDs must have completed exams in the last three years.

Responsabilités

• Part-time employment teaching one or more introductory and/or advanced courses in Economics.
• Assignments may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.
• Perform all duties within the state of California.
