Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Performance: Provide course materials, adhere to competencies, stay organized and prepared, teach and assess content, pace and adapt delivery, give timely feedback and maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Student Advisement: Offer academic guidance, maintain office hours, assist in goal setting, use institutional data for advising, refer when needed, protect confidential information.
• Instructional Development: Develop competency-based syllabi and materials, assist with textbook selection and instructional resources.
• College and/or other Community Service: Promote the college, assist in recruitment and placement, participate in advisory boards and community projects, support continuing education.
• Professional Development: Stay current in teaching, draft a development plan, participate in courses and workshops to learn new practices.
• Instructional Management: Maintain records, submit reports, manage classroom activity, handle student work professionally.
