Job summary

Lone Star College–Montgomery invites applications for a faculty position in Economics. The instructor will teach Economics courses, develop syllabi, and employ diverse teaching methods to meet student needs.

This role emphasizes student engagement and professional service within the college community. The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Economics (or equivalent) and demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, contributing to a vibrant learning

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Economics or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Economics.
  • Demonstrated teaching ability in Economics at the college level.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Economics courses at various times and locations as needed.
  • Improve instruction using innovative methodologies and delivery methods.
  • Develop and use a syllabus for each course.
  • Plan and utilize diverse teaching methods for students with different backgrounds.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.
