Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics or related field with 18 graduate hours in Economics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven teaching skills and ability to convey concepts clearly.
• Ability to teach diverse populations.
• Ability to apply traditional and innovative technologies.
• Ability to support student retention and program completion.
• Must meet SACS credentialing requirements for instructors.
• Preferred: Doctorate in Economics; 2–5 years teaching experience in post-secondary.

Responsibilities

• Instruct assigned economics classes.
• Prepare, instruct and grade coursework.
• Assign final grades and provide grade justification.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to meet with students.
• Participate in department, division, and adjunct faculty meetings.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
