Lone Star College invites applications for adjunct faculty in Economics. Courses are offered at various times and locations, including day, evening, and weekend classes. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with service-learning and distance learning is a plus.
• Ability to teach economics across multiple times/locations.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Economics courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Utilizes a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
• Meets with and advises students before/after class or by appointment.
• Evaluates students and informs progress promptly.
• Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
• Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned.
