Job summary

The Brattle Group in New York is seeking Research Analysts (Economics) to join our New York office and contribute to quantitative modeling, literature reviews, and support for expert reports in complex regulatory matters.

You will work with senior consultants, coding in R, Python, Stata, SAS, Excel and VBA to build data-driven solutions for antitrust, consumer protection and telecom cases. Strong teamwork and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline with strong academic performance (GPA 3.7+).
Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities in a collaborative setting.
Intellectual curiosity and creativity with a strong problem-solving mindset.
High ownership and commitment to deliver quality client-ready work.

Responsibilities

Build quantitative models and data-based solutions using programming languages and Excel/VBA.
Conduct qualitative research, literature reviews, and document analysis to support expert reports.
Assist in preparing expert reports/presentations for complex economic/regulatory contexts.
Collaborate with team members across levels to develop robust solutions for clients.
