Job summary

on / Sight, a Colorado-based ecommerce web development agency, is seeking a Web Designer to join our Shopify-focused team. You’ll design for a range of ecommerce brands, handling full site redesigns, landing pages, PDPs, PLPs, and ongoing optimization.

The ideal candidate balances creativity with performance, understands ecommerce UX and best practices, and can translate brand strategy into compelling digital experiences across multiple projects in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional web or UI design experience.
• Strong ecommerce, consumer brand, or agency experience. Shopify experience is a plus.
• High proficiency in Figma and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with CRO and A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, accessible ecommerce experiences in Figma from concept through development handoff.
• Contribute to full site redesigns, landing pages, PDPs, PLPs, A/B tests, conversion optimizations, and ongoing site improvements.
• Use brand strategy, UX best practices, customer behavior, and performance goals to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, strategists, developers, designers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct design QA to ensure implemented work is polished, accurate, and consistent with the approved designs.
• Maintain organized, development-ready Figma files.

We design and build solutions for stores of all shapes and sizes, but focus on high-volume direct-to-consumer brands on the Shopify platform. Our clients are balanced between CPG, Child/ Family brands, and home products. With our 10+ years of experience in Shopify specifically, our small team makes enterprise-level impacts.

Description

We’re looking for a Web Designer to join our growing Shopify-focused agency. You’ll design for a range of ecommerce and consumer brands, working across full website redesigns, landing pages, PDPs, PLPs, A/B tests, conversion optimizations, and ongoing site improvements.

We’re looking for someone who can balance creativity with performance. You should understand ecommerce UX and best practices, while bringing strong visual thinking and thoughtful ideas to both larger design projects and ongoing optimization work.

The Right Candidate

1. Has excellent visual and UI design skills with a strong eye for layout, hierarchy, interaction, accessibility, and detail.
2. Understands UX best practices and conversion principles, but doesn’t approach every site the same way.
3. Brings ideas to the table, works efficiently, and can confidently explain their design thinking.
4. Is comfortable working across multiple brands, projects, and types of design work in a fast-paced agency environment.
