Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is hiring for a warehouse associate in California. The role involves stocking, pulling and packaging merchandise, operating pallet jack equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The position pays $19.00 per hour with a schedule of 8am–4:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with overtime as needed. Benefits include health, dental, and other welfare programs. Experience with pallet jacks and lifting up to 50 pounds is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls and places merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds using handheld device or pick modules.
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Replenishes inventory stock and counts material for accuracy.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise.
• Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise for shipment with proper labeling.
