Job summary

Siza- Buso Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ecological restoration projects across Florida. You will manage stream and wetland design, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality solutions.

The role requires a PE license in Florida, Rosgen Level 4, and strong client relationship skills to support business development and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Eng from ABET-accredited program.
• 12+ years of experience in ecological restoration or mitigation design.
• PE license in Florida.
• Rosgen Level 4 or equivalent river course accreditation.
• Experience with stream and wetland assessment, hydrologic/hydraulic modelling, and restoration design.

Are you an experienced engineering professional passionate about ecological restoration and environmental sustainability? We're seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead stream, wetland, and natural habitat restoration projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality solutions across Florida and other regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead stream, wetland, and ecological restoration design projects.
• Oversee technical teams, consultants, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development.
• Monitor project quality, financial performance, and construction activities.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited engineering programme.
• At least 12 years of experience designing ecological restoration or mitigation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence in Florida.
• Rosgen Level 4 certification or equivalent river course accreditation.
• Experience in stream and wetland assessment, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, and restoration design.
• Familiarity with HEC-RAS, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Strong project management, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Experience with Florida environmental projects and regulatory agencies.
• Business development and client relationship management experience.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control.
• Experience working with clients or regulatory authorities in Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, or Virginia.
