CareerUS Solution in Florida seeks a mid-senior Project Manager with 12+ years of ecological restoration design experience (streams, wetlands and natural habitats). You will lead scope, schedule and budget for Florida projects and coordinate with subconsultants and staff to deliver high-quality environmental services.

The role emphasizes growing client relationships with local, state and federal agencies, mentoring technical staff, and supporting marketing proposals across our water resources

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• 12+ years designing ecological restoration / mitigation projects
• Florida Professional Engineer license
• Rosgen Level 4 or River Course accreditation

Responsibilities

• Monitor schedules, budgets, accounts receivable, and manpower requirements
• Develop project management, pricing, quality, and specific scope plans
• Manage subconsultants, assigned staff, and all technical resources
• Lead stream/wetland assessment, hydrologic modeling, and joint permit applications

Experience level: Mid-senior Experience required: 12 Years Education level: Bachelor’s degree Job function: Project Management Industry: Civil Engineering Compensation: View salary Total position: 1 Relocation assistance: No Visa sponsorship eligibility: NoPosition Summary:Responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including; scope, schedule and budget.We are seeking skilled professionals with experience in Ecological Restoration including the design of streams, wetlands and other natural habitats / ecosystems and related services.Emphasis is on Florida projects with ability and desire to also work on projects across our entire footprint.The ideal candidate would have previous and strong relationships with key regional clients as well as other local, state, and Federal clients.The ability and desire to grow and manage technical work and staff, nurture and create new client relationships, collaborate with other technical experts in our core natural and water resource business units, and assist with marketing of environmental services throughout our company is highly desirable.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices.Develop Project Management plans for assigned projectsEstablish project pricing and budgetsCreate and maintain project schedulesDevelop and maintain project specific quality plansDevelop and coordinate project scopeManage subconsultantsParticipate in client presentationsOversee and manage assigned staff working on projectManage all technical resources on the project teamDevelopment of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposalsCoordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, Service and Market Line Leaders with marketing proposalsStream / Wetland assessment and design experienceWetland and Forest Stand Delineation experienceHydrologic Modeling experience using TR55 / TR20 and Rational MethodologiesHydraulic Modeling experience using HEC-RASAutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation drafting experienceGIS experience using ArcMapCommunity Engagement and Landowner Interaction experienceStream Survey and Assessment experience including operating laser level survey equipment and sediment sampling proceduresJoint Permit coordination and Application preparation experienceConstruction Management / Oversight experienceAbility to travel Nonessential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program12+ years of experience designing ecological restoration / mitigation projectsProfessional Engineer Licensed in FloridaRosgen Level 4 Certified or similar River Course accreditationPreferred Experience:CAPM or PMPExperience working with local clients at the county and state levelProject management and business development experienceExperience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Full DeliveryExperience managing multidiscipline project teamsESC CertificationExperience working in Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and VirginiaStrong relationships with the Regulatory community2-D Modeling experienceStormwater Management design experienceErosion and Sediment Control design experienceWorking Conditions:Work is performed within a general office environment 90% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
