Stantec is seeking technicians to support field restoration projects in Florida, focusing on nuisance and exotic vegetation management in wetlands and conservation lands. The role involves outdoor work, long days, and sometimes overnight travel, all while following safety and project protocols.

You will learn ecological restoration methods, operate diverse equipment, plant native species, and assist with GIS mapping as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Technical Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement restoration project work under supervision.
• Herbicide application to nuisance/exotic plants using UTV, boat, backpack, or airboat.
• Native planting and erosion control installation.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
