Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Ecological Engineering Intern to join our Orlando team. You will support ecological projects under supervision, assist in field investigations, data collection, and report preparation, gaining exposure to wetlands, protected species, and environmental permitting.

You will document field data, assist with technical memoranda, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to support ongoing project needs and deliverables, while learning industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of foundational ecological and environmental science principles and field methods.
• Ability to organize field data and prepare written materials.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ecological field investigations, wetlands delineations, and habitat assessments.
• Document and organize field data, transcribe notes, and support report preparation.
• Support environmental permitting tasks and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to preparation of technical memoranda and project documentation.
• Assist with GIS/GPS data collection and processing of field data.
• Collaborate with project managers, ecologists, and engineers to support deliverables.
