Job summary

Rock Health in Gainesville, FL, seeks an ECMO Specialist to oversee daily ECMO program operations and ensure safe administration of blood products and medications. You will work with bedside nurses to maintain perfusion, acid-base balance, and hemodynamic stability across age groups.

The role requires an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Nursing degree, 2+ years ICU experience, and BLS/PALS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy or Nursing program with current licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience; ECMO experience preferred with Primer training.
• Certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS (PALS and ACLS within 6 weeks of hire).
• Valid licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse in the state.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles is not required.

• Assist in staffing and patient care needs across departments and participate in transport of ECMO patients.
