Job summary

Citi in London is seeking a placement analyst to join the Equity Capital Markets team starting January 2027. The six-month program trains and grows key players, with successful placement analysts considered for a full-time role after graduation.

You will develop pitchbooks, manage transaction processes, analyze financial data, and coordinate with Citi’s global sales force to ensure cross‑franchise alignment.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate student eligible to start January 2027.
• Expect a 2:1 or equivalent at undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Developing pitchbooks and executing ECM mandates for Citi clients, collaborating with M&A, Financing and Debt Capital Markets where needed.
• Managing the transaction process including compliance checks and committee approvals, liaising with research compliance.
• Analyzing financial data and building models including stand-alone valuations, DCF and comparables.
• Building a regular dialogue with Citi’s sales force globally to coordinate activities across the franchise.
