Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking an Analyst in Equity Capital Markets to participate in the full cycle of transaction execution, including preparing marketing materials, reviewing and formulating financial analyses, presenting to clients, and driving day-to-day execution across live deals.

You will join the global ECM Analyst class with a broad team of over 100 Analysts and Associates, receiving hands-on training, mentoring, and exposure to real-time transactions that may require travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in an investment banking front office or related role.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
• Knowledge of capital markets and the ECM execution function.
• Impeccable communication skills with senior professionals and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Self-directed, motivated and able to manage multiple executions independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute public capital raising transactions for issuer clients, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Assist senior bankers in client pitches and RFP preparation.
• Liaise with internal teams including industry coverage, sales/trading, syndicate, equity research and legal.
• Prepare thought pieces related to ECM and technology sector.
• Drive issuer analysis including precedent transactions and shareholder targeting.
• Draft presentation materials and internal memorandums prior to launch of transactions.
