Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in imaging or related field.
• 1+ year of hospital imaging experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Cardiovascular credentials listed (RCDS, RVS, RCS or RVT).
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in imaging procedures.
• Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
