Qualifications

• Extensive experience in echocardiography and cardiac imaging.
• Proficient with CPT coding and billing practices for imaging services.
• Ability to perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and related procedures.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic quality echocardiography including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler and color flow imaging.
• Conducts complex cardiac studies of heart chambers and valves using sector scanning; detects stenosis, dilation, and pathologies.
• Performs TEE, dobutamine and exercise stress, 3D echocardiography and related procedures; executes Definity administration when needed.
• Manages imaging storage; assists billing and coding with exam interpretation and encounters; ensures correct CPT codes and documentation.
• Cross-cover for EKG and ambulatory cardiac monitoring; completes encounters and supports cardiology operations.
